It was a welcome return to Cereals 2016 when we delivered a wide range of exciting displays and services for AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds. Cereals is the UK’s leading technical event for the arable industry attended by over 25,000 farmers, agronomists and industry professionals. Cereals 2016 (15-16 June) was hosted on a working farm at Chrishall Grange in Cambridgeshire. The targeted Design Brief encompassed the majority of the 9000m² site including variety plots, marquees and outdoor display areas.
Imposing Information and Oats Towers were constructed to provide key information, hold literature and offer visitors crop tour details using continuously updating ticker feeds. An innovative tunnel display was created to guide guests through cover crop experiences while freestanding boards and shaped structured offered an insight into industry issues and research. Nearly 300 individual pieces of signage were created and installed from flags, to variety and treatment boards. A beautifully branded gazebo provided the backdrop for the Market Intelligence area and a perfect place to enjoy lunch.
In the main marquee we created an Information Zone packed with industry publications as well as stylish and comfortable seating areas, professional tea and coffee making facilities and ample storage. Three smaller marquees housed co-exhibitors, MAGB, Nabim and Red Tractor, each with their own impactful display, welcome bars, product display and seating areas.
A comfortable private AHDB staff area was produced with indoor and outdoor seating, well stocked sandwich chillers, hot and cold drinks machine, lockable storage as well as staff only toilets.
