The GOSH Brief

Symbiosis was honoured to be involved in the Inaugural Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Conference in October. Advances in Paediatrics showcased exciting research, innovation and projects occurring within GOSH with colleagues from across paediatrics as well as featured plenary keynotes, interactive parallel sessions and exclusive networking opportunity.
The brief was to provide a professional and clean backdrop for the 42 academic posters to be displayed in the Large Common Room of London House, Goodenough College. Quality of finish was very important and there had to be ample room to create a natural traffic flow around the complete display.
Our Response

Following a site visit, our in-house design team created a 3D visual showing the to-scale layout of the boards in the Large Common Room. Using this plan our crew built overnight using Sym Shell to ensure that everything was ready for the posters to be applied in time for the opening of the conference. The organisers were delighted and impressed commenting that boards looked rather like a striking modern art installation in the traditional surrounding. Following a very successful event, our crew was on hand for a quick and quiet removed.
We look forward to working with GOSH on its second conference in 2018.
