The Israel Mobile & Media Association (IMA) approached Symbiosis to create its multi stand presence at Mobile World Congress 2017(MWC). An annual exhibitor, IMA had secured three spaces (356m² in total) in the popular hospitality area. It wanted to create an impactful series of booths with attractive meeting and sales areas for 24 member combined with a central welcome and hospitality hub. However all the designs had to meet strict venue regulations including an embargo on large hanging banners as well as a meet the requirement that the majority if space should be enclosed.
Working closely with the client we created a series of Co-Exhibitor packages offering different level of space, graphics, furniture and IT. These ranged from simple branded seating areas to private enclosed meeting rooms and custom-built zones. Once these had been assigned, the areas were divided with the largest (160m²) as selected as the main hospitality hub.
A large branded header circled the stand allowing for height and cut through in the very busy hall. A bespoke welcome desk gave the IMA team a focal point to manage the many pre-booked delegate-member meetings. Guests were drawn to the large rear networking area with it’s eye-catching 9-screen video wall and custom-made bar fully stocked with refreshments. While the remaining space was split between the smaller co-exhibitors with a collection of branded seating areas and semi-private meeting rooms.
Members who required more room and increased privacy were housed on the two remaining spaces (112m² and 84m²). Radcom chose the custom package and we worked with them to create a clean contemporary stand including a reception area with a 4-screen video wall, demo Ipads and Nespresso coffee as well as meeting room. ASOCS selected the premium package which included a large enclosed meeting room with bespoke IT and AV, refreshments and a handy concealed storage area.
After a five day build the completed multi-stand was handed over to the great delighted client and co-exhibitors on-time, on-budget and to the highest professional standards. Integral to the smooth delivery was the use of our project management and workflow system. A cloud-based application it connected all aspects of the project from initial costs and proposals through to design and even artwork approval online resulting in complete transparency throughout.
